My Favorite Color

The color purple is my favorite, since I can remember I always liked it. Although, I like the color, I would never wear any purple garment.

The purple color is formed by mixing red and blue. It is a secondary color. It represented the royalty and wealthy families of ancient times. And the Catholics wore purple clothing in the days of Lent.

After watching the videos, and reading about purple, I found that it is closely related to my personality. Beginning with its complementary color which is yellow, and yellow is my second favorite color. It also relates to me.

Purple represents intelligence and artistry. I think they are two qualities that characterize me, because I'm studying a career that requires much intelligence, and it can also be considered an art.

Purple represents, too, the feminine. I'm also feminine, because I am a woman; and I'm pretty melancholic, because everything brings back memories. I do not identify with the other characteristics of the color purple, because they are related to vanity and luxury. I think my personality is more related to the yellow color that is a very active, like me. However, I still like purple more.

I've done several designs using only the color purple, I've also painted ceramics. And one wall of my room is purple. I love this wall because it gives a warm and cozy feeling to my room.
